Congratulations to Sarawak Cultural Village for winning the award for Most Captivating Leisure, Arts & Culture Event at the Sarawak Harvest & Folklore Festival, with the award presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Sri Haji Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts, at the 9th Sarawak Hornbill Tourism Awards. The award was accepted by Puan Jane Lian Labang, General Manager of Sarawak Cultural Village. Held on September 27, 2024, at the Hikmah Exchange Event Centre, the event celebrated the resilience of Sarawak’s tourism industry under the theme 'Wind of Resilience,' graced by the Right Honourable Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri (Dr) Abang Haji Abdul Rahman Zohari Bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg as the Guest of Honor, who commended the dedication of all stakeholders in rebuilding the industry.

Also in attendance were Tan Sri Datuk Amar (Dr) Haji Abdul Aziz, Chairman of SEDC Sarawak, Puan Sri Datin Amar Nur Ashima Aziz, Tuan Hj Awang Nasfuddin Awang Hassan, Director of Human Resources & Administration of SEDC, and Encik Mark James Ferguson, CEO of Hemisphere Corporation Sdn Bhd (a wholly owned subsidiary of SEDC).
