Maratua Island offers vertical walls dives with pristine coral, strong currents and lots of BIG pelagics. Don’t be surprised to see grey reef sharks, leopard sharks and white tip reef sharks. For the lucky divers you may also encounter hammerheads, whale sharks and even thresher sharks! Rays are also common here, especially eagle rays, devil rays and giant stingrays. Schooling barracuda, snapper, dogtooth tuna, spanish mackerel, jackfish, and surgeonfish are some other species you may encounter.

Maratua’s incredible underwater world

The diving around Maratua is out of this world! You’ll explore kaleidoscopic coral reefs fuelled by ripping currents and dizzying drop-offs teeming with marine life. These nutrient-rich waters are home to hundreds of hard and soft coral species, vast schools of colourful reef fish, and mind-blowing yet minuscule macro creatures. But, the real delight in these remote waters is the wealth of marine megafauna that calls the region home.

During a typical dive in Maratua, you’ll likely come across sea turtles and schooling fish species including barracuda, snapper, tuna, mackerel, and jacks. Nurse sharks, reef sharks, manta and eagle rays, and even hammerheads can be spotted here, with breathtaking up-close encounters considered a common occurrence. Maratua’s single reef channel - the aptly named ‘Big Fish Country’ - attracts the most marine life and is home to what many people believe is one of the largest schools of Barracuda in Southeast Asia!

Bagaimana boleh sampai ke Pulau Mabul?Mari i share sikit perjalanan dan cost .

Long story short😁😁
DAY 1
KUL TWU booked..ohyeah...cost return fair pn tak la mahal sgt.Dalam myr 260 jer.sbb i booking awal..hehe..Touch down Airport Tawau around 9am dan i direct teruskan perjalanan i ke Semporna pula..ianya mengambil masa dalam 1jam 3o minit mengikut pemanduan dan kesesakan lalulintas..Syukur alhamdulillah,perjalanan i lancar jer..cost utk transportation myr100.

Oh ya..dekat Semporna banyak menyediakan penginapan yang sangat selesa.Harga pn tak lah mahal sangat..I pilih penginapan dekat Wings Hotel Semporna.Cost 1 malam cuma rm100.i ambik 2 malam.nnti kita sambung cerita kat wings hotel.I nak fokus cerita kat pulau Mabul,,hehe..

Day2
Sekitar 8 pagi,dah ada kereta nak bawa i ke jetty pelancongan..i ambik route C iaitu dengan harga RM120 seorang ke Pulau Mabul dan Kapalai.ianya mengambil masa dalam 40minit untuk sampai ke destinasi.Air yang membiru,Jernih Subahanallah.Indah dan mendamai kan.Kalau bukan menginap di Mabul Water Bungalow kena bayar rm30 seorang tau untuk masuk ke resort tersebut.kat dalam tu sangat cantik.ambik la gambar sepuas-puasnya.makan tengahari juga d sediakan oleh guide/boatman.Makan sambil menikmati indahnya Pulau Mabul dengan anginnya yang sepoi2 manja..love sangat.

Selepas makan-makan,i ke aktiviti seterusnya iaitu snorkeling di area Pulau mabul dan meneruskan aktiviti snorkeling ke Kapalai pula.Banyak kehidupan laut kita boleh lihat seperti penyu,nemo dan banyak jenis ikan lagi.Aktiviti sangat menyeronokan sehingga tak sedar jam menunjukkan hampir jam 4pm.

Sekitar jam 5-6 petang i di hantar ke wings hotel untuk berehat.Rasa sangat berbaloi dengan pengalaman yang indah.plan nak bawa ramai rakan dan keluarga pun membuak-buak..😬😬

Day3

Last Day di Semporna.Semporna juga mempunyai tempat yang boleh di lawati sepertinya Bukit Tengkorak,Pangkalangan Bay dan juga Tanjung Perapat.Sempat juga la i berOOTD sebelum berangkat ke Airport Tawau.Cost Untuk penyewaan kenderaan myr150.

Total cost perjalanan i ke mabul MYR830.00 utk 3hari 2mlm.. tetapi if korang nak yang Mudah,Ringkas,beli ja Pakej boleh Jimatkan masa dan wang..

Serendah myr350 pun ada untuk semua service yang saya guna selama 3hari 2mlm kat semporna.serius ni weyyy.. Just do contact ejen di link i letak kat bawah ni..
