Mr. Anthony had the privilege of meeting with the 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱, 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘁𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗻 (พิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn), and the 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗸𝗵𝗹𝗮, 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗝𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁, at the 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 in 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗸𝘀𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆. These meetings opens opportunity for future collaboration between Malaysia and Thailand in vocational training, paving the way for enhanced bilateral cooperation, knowledge exchange, and the development of joint programs that will benefit the vocational skills landscape in both countries.

The WorldSkills Regional Competition is part of the WorldSkills organization, which promotes vocational and technical training worldwide. These regional competitions serve as preliminary stages before national and international events, aiming to identify and nurture young talent in various trades. Participants, often students or apprentices, compete in diverse categories such as robotics, carpentry, plumbing, and web design, showcasing their skills and excellence. The competition's primary goals are to encourage skill development, recognize young professionals, and set high standards for vocational skills. Winners from regional competitions may advance to national competition and potentially represent their country in the WorldSkills International Competition. Through these events, WorldSkills enhances career opportunities for participants, fosters networking, and raises the profile of skilled professions, contributing to economic growth and personal success.

MIT Automation and GITC signed a momentous Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on an Industry 4.0 skills upgrade initiative, formalized through an MOU exchange between 𝗬𝗕 𝗧𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗺 (Steven Sim Chee Keong 沈志强), the 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀( (Kementerian Sumber Manusia) and 𝗠𝗿. MIT Academy was proud to be an exhibitor at the Malaysia Aerospace Summit 2023, held from November 15-16, 2023. This prestigious event brought together key industry players, government officials, and aerospace experts to discuss the latest trends and developments in the aerospace sector.

MIT Academy CEO, Mr. Anthony Ng, had the opportunity to exchange a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Aerospace Industry Corporation Malaysia (NAICO) to collaborate on future Industry 4.0 (IR4.0) projects. Mr. Ng also delivered a keynote speech on Aerospace Digitalization, highlighting MIT Academy's expertise in helping businesses in the aerospace industry adopt IR4.0 digital technologies to improve their efficiency and competitiveness.

The 𝐍𝐇𝐂𝐄𝐄 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 recently hosted a transformative human capital development event at MITEC, featuring MIT Academy's showcase of Industry 4.0 technologies. This event shows the rapid progression toward full digitalization and automation in the industry, highlighting the integration of robotic systems, modular production systems, metaverse digital twins, and PLC Meclab systems.

MIT's interactive exhibits provided attendees with hands-on experiences of Industry 4.0 technologies, helping them comprehend the potential of these innovations. The robotic systems showcased the agility and precision of automated processes, while modular production systems demonstrated the flexibility and adaptability of contemporary manufacturing lines.

The metaverse digital twin of Industry 4.0 captivated participants with its immersive representation of real-time production environments. This cutting-edge technology facilitates real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and optimized decision-making, revolutionizing industrial operations.

The PLC Meclab system, a versatile didactic equipment for programmable logic controllers (PLCs), offered attendees an opportunity to enhance their skills in this essential aspect of Industry 4.0 automation. PLCs play a pivotal role in modern manufacturing by controlling various aspects of production processes.

The WSMB competition is a national-level skills competition that has been organized annually with the aim of recognizing youths and skilled workers who possess exceptional skills. This competition is open to youth aged 21 years and below (except for certain skills areas which are only available for youths 23 years old and below). This competition aims to improve the skills of manpower in Malaysia. By taking part in the competition, young and talented individuals have the opportunity to showcase their skills in this rapidly evolving field.
