The performance of ECMs projects are very dependent on M&V activities. Several protocols have been introduced as a guideline to describe common practice in measuring, computing and reporting energy saving at end user facilities. According to the protocols, to properly report energy savings, adjustment must be made to account for the differences in condition between the pre-retrofit and post-retrof

it period. A simple comparison of the utility cost without such adjustment fails to report the truth performance of the ECMs project. Therefore it is the aim of this course to provide a training and knowledge on how M&V activities should be conducted and how to properly report savings.
