Horus Hybrid Coating is a combination of Glass & Ceramic Coating in a single form. What makes Hybrid Coating better compared to each individual coating?

Let us start with Glass Coating, Glass Coating have a very high gloss & wet look finish that we are dreaming over on our car. It is primarily used for Autoshow and competition as it gives the best shine and gloss for the car. It has one major downfall for Glass Coating is that it is fragile and not very durable. Glass Coating can be cracked when got hit by stone and it does not bond super well with the paint.

Ceramic Coating on the other hand has a high durability and reliability. It can withstand minor stone chip, scratches and etc without cracking or causing any issue with the coated surface, but Ceramic Coating wont give you that high gloss and shine or that wet look compared to Glass Coating.

At Horus Autocare SB, when you send your car for Horus Premium Hybrid Coating. The car will undergo several important steps to get the "new car" look and finish.

One of the most important step is the Paint Correction and Paint Levelling process. These steps will bring back the shine and gloss of the car to that "new car" look.

When the paint has started to fade, there is some chances of bringing back the gloss & the shine back to original level, but not 100% of the time. If the clear coat have been worn off totally, the only way to bring back the gloss is to respray the car.

Fortunately for this case, the clear coat can be saved and we are able to bring back the shine and gloss. After the Paint Correction and Paint Levelling process, the paint will be applied with a Horus Premium Hybrid Coating to lock that shine and give it additional protection for the paint.

Did you know that Maintenance Coating is as important as the first time coating?

What do we do for Coating Maintenance? When you have done your Coating, there is the need for maintenance to maintain its shine & gloss level. Apart from that maintenance are able to gain back the hydrophobic performance.

When the car has been used and been exposed to external environment factor. There can be microscopic dirt, grime and sap that will stick onto your coating.

Due to this, your coating performance especially the hydrophobic properties will be reduce slightly. In order to gain back that performance you need to do maintenance on your coating.

Horus Premium Hybrid Coating content either 30microns or 50microns thickness (depends on its package) will be done under Maintenance Coating Once a year which 10microns to be cut (Polishing) to get back the smooth Hydrophobic effect.

Typically maintenance need to be done within 6 month to a year depending on the external environment condition and also depends on how you take care of the car.

Our customer here come for a once a year maintenance that is included in our Horus Premium Hybrid Coating Package.

Once the maintenance coating have been done, the car looks like first day of applying the coating.
