The World Coffee in Good Spirits (WCGIS) 2022 event came to an end yesterday. We would like to specially congratulate Danny Wilson from Australia for winning the 5th place in this world competition using our Liberica coffee beans! In the world of Liberica, he definitely won the top spot already. Danny Wilson is the head roaster from ONA Coffee, the competition coffee beans used by Hugh Kelly on WBC 2021 was a great work from him.

We would like to also thank the team from Ona Coffee for bringing our MY LIBERICA’s coffee beans to the international competition for the second time. They have successfully demonstrated the open-minded, inclusiveness and objectivity of the world class players, while showing excellent exploration and presentation skills.The competition is not about using specific coffee varieties, processing, roasting or brewing methods, but more on the superb presentation of the culture and spirit of specialty coffee.

We, Liberica, the non-mainstream coffee variety in the world, this has undoubtedly given a new life and a new chance for the industry to recover. It also makes the specialty coffee industry more meaningful and fascinating.

The world of Liberica coffee is just about to begin. 🌍
