03/01/2025 — Internal Training Session: Latest Updates from IRB (LHDN) on Accessing Tax Identification Numbers (TIN)

Effective 1 January 2025, accessing your Tax Identification Number (TIN) has been simplified. There is no longer a need to log in to MyTax to retrieve your TIN.

The new process is designed to be seamless and efficient.

Here’s how you can access your TIN:
1. Download the MyDigital ID App.
2. Click the TIN search : https://mytax.hasil.gov.my
3. Scan the QR Code using the MyDigital ID App to instantly retrieve your TIN.

Simple and hassle-free.

The Inland Revenue Board Malaysia (IRBM) has set to implement and fully enforce e-invoicing by 1 Aug 2024.

Currently, businesses with a turnover of between RM25m -RM100m are working towards the next deadline of 1 Jan 2025 and full enforcement to all businesses will be on 01 July 2025.
