The Inland Revenue Board Malaysia (IRBM) has set to implement and fully enforce e-invoicing by 1 Aug 2024.

Currently, businesses with a turnover of between RM25m -RM100m are working towards the next deadline of 1 Jan 2025 and full enforcement to all businesses will be on 01 July 2025.

Failure to comply with relevant regulations will see fines between RM200-RM20,000 per infraction. With such urgency and consequences, a smooth transition is key for the continued success of businesses in Malaysia.
