Seasons. As we head into August we dive into our peak whale months. Humpback mother & calves are arriving daily and often in pods - breaching, frolicking and seemingly playing with the Kisawa boats that are so carefully observing them. ⁠

Guests last week witnessed the whales 'jumping' from the shore!⁠
⁠
The ocean is rich with marine life, including dolphins, rays, turtles and tuna shoals. The flamingos appear in fluorescent pink strength along the flats and if you're keen to see our resident nile crocodile, we will organise the red dune hike.⁠

As the last month of Mozambique's 'winter', August temperatures remain a steady average of 26°C (78.9°F) with a low chance of rain. August also retains the title of our least humid month of the year!⁠
