New year update: The political unrest in Mozambique continues as the inauguration of Frelimos’ Daniel Chapo occurs today. Prime Zulu remains closed until we can reassure our guests of safe travel within Mozambique.

As a result of the current political unrest in Mozambique and the subsequent cancellation of all charters by clients, we as Prime Zulu have made the decision to temporarily close down operations. This was by no means an easy decision, however, the safety of our clients, staff and assets is our primary concern. Once the unrest has settled and tourism is back up and running, we will be delighted to return to what we do best - putting you on quality fish. We will keep you updated on the developing situation. Keeping those reels screaming, one of our staple if not the staple of Mozambique, the Couta/Serra/Spanish mackeral. On top water, bait, jig, whatever, they always give us what we want. We are eternally grateful for everything these fish give us.

Yellowfin for dinner, these guys provide us with endless fun. Boxing way above their weight class, often engulfing anything in reach in one clean swallow. They are electric, aggressive and we love them.
