I have been watching videos on FB and Youtube of people doing overlanding, 4x4 off roading, camping and beach braai’s. What I noticed are all the actions taken, like hunting for rocks or whatever is needed, or the big and heavy duty grills used to get a fire and braai going and secure a steady place to place the rooster or grid.

We intalled a boom to close off the road to Calanga Phati Eco Camp to prevent unauthorized people to enter the area

We planted 7 wooden columns on the area near the beach where we want to do beach bbq's. This will be used to protect the area from wind. We still put caniço reeds inbetween the posts to for a wind break

Last night we prepared a rib eye steak on the bone using the Flame Master grid holder. I had Slanghoek Cabernet and blue berries, yogurt and honey for desert

We have now cleaned all the debris in the house that was destroyed by fire so that we can start the rebuild

Last night we prepared and grilled a chicken using the Flame Master braai holder to cook it perfectly.
The atmosphere and ambiance is so good that every experience is superb and most enjoyable 😋

We had a mis fortune at Calanga Phati as one of the houses - Lagalibalele - burnt down 😫
We are cleaning all the rubble and preparing to demolish the structure and then start the rebuilding of the house

I cooked mushrooms in butter and salt. I also cooked sweet corn and green beans with vegetable spices. Made a tomato , purple onion and lettuce salad with pickled carrots and cabbage.
