I have been travelling on the 2 ferries that operate between Maputo and KaTembe for over 20 years.
With the anticipated opening in a few weeks time of the new bridge now joining the 2, yesterday possibly & sadly my last trip on these hardworking old vessels

A comunidade mandou o parar e bloqueiou a estrada para Que ele nao possa passar com carro dele para ele devolver passaportes das turistas.
Você pode ouvir eles a dizer que ja estamos cansados da corrupção da polícia, e está afetando o turismo em Ponta e nas nossas vidas

The Commondant of the local police in Ponta do Ouro took some tourists passports from them, apparantly to corruptly extort money from them
The community in the market blocked his car and demanded he return them.
You can hear them telling him that they are tired of the Police corruption, and its affecting tourism in Ponta, and their livelihoods
