Bring your own supply of Dettol/ Lavender mix in spray containers, which is a great way for preventing bites on exposed body parts after sunset.

The hotel is perfectly located for guests to enjoy the tranquillity Mozambique has to offer as well as attractions such as deep sea fishing, paddling, scuba diving, snorkelling and dolphin watching just a few kilometres away in Ponta do Ouro.

The lodge offers bed and breakfast rates and has a sumptuous lounge and large pool deck presenting stunning views over the ocean. Lunch and dinner menus are available in the dining room.

Happy World Sea Turtle Day! 🐢🌍

Today, we celebrate the majestic sea turtles that grace our oceans and the vital role they play in marine ecosystems. This loggerhead sea turtle came up to nest on the beautiful shores of Bhanga Nek in 2020 during a fieldwork trip done by our marine biologist, Hannah Snyman. This is a testament to ongoing conservation efforts here in South Africa. 😎

Sea turtles face numerous threats, from habitat loss to pollution and climate change. By tagging and tracking these magnificent beings, we can better understand their movements and implement strategies to safeguard their future.💙

Let's come together to support marine conservation and ensure that sea turtles continue to thrive in our oceans. Every small action counts - whether it's reducing plastic use, supporting conservation programs, or spreading awareness.🐢💙🌊
