Usakos is a charming town located in the Erongo Region of Namibia, about 140 kilometers north-east of Swakopmund. It’s situated along the B2 (Trans-Kalahari Highway), making it a convenient stopover on the way to other destinations.
The town is known for its picturesque surroundings, including the nearby Spitzkoppe, often referred to as the “Matterhorn of Namibia”

Usakos has a rich history, originally established as a workshop and watering station for locomotives in the early 1900s. Today, it’s a small town with a population of around 18,700 people. Some notable attractions include the Usakos Railway Station, the Usakos Museum, and the Usakos Water Tower.

Do stop by for a drink or lunch, it’s a very cozy bistro. 😎

Yes, **C’est Si Bon Hotel** in Otjiwarongo is a great place to stay. It offers comfortable, lodge-style accommodations with thatched roofs, beautiful gardens, and spaces. The hotel is conveniently located near northern Namibia’s tourist attractions, making it an ideal stopover on the way to Etosha National Park.

The hotel features a swimming pool, a la carte restaurant, bar, conference facilities, and large gardens with an aviary. It’s known for its friendly atmosphere and reasonably priced, spacious rooms.
