🎣 What an incredible fishing trip we had at Kunene Mouth last week! 🐟 From sunrise to sunset, the fishing was non-stop, and everyone caught plenty of fish. Personal bests were smashed and Gert's 1.58m cob, tipping the scales at 42.4kg, was the king of the catch. 🏆

Everyone went home with unforgettable memories! 🌅 Check out the attached photos – they speak for themselves! 📸

This is a catch and release area and all fish are swimming in the ocean again.

This epic trip was also recorded for the Hier gaan ons Alweer TV programme, and you’ll see plenty of footage from our adventure. The first episode will air on 7th January on Kyknet! 📺

Day 5, last day of fishing and Albert caught this beautiful 1.32m cob (24.5kg).

THE DRIVE TO THE KUNENE MOUTH 🎣🌊

This drive takes us along pristine beaches, through rugged terrain, past historic landmarks, and offers encounters with spectacular wildlife. The road to Kunene Mouth is an adventure in itself.

We were honored to sponsor a voucher for our Fishing Tour to the Kunene Mouth at the Hentiesbaai Visfees, which was auctioned off to raise funds for House O'LINN Dementia House in Henties Bay. The auction was a huge success, with the voucher fetching an incredible $29,000! 💥

A big shout-out to the generous bidders, Neels Dreyer and Piet Pretorius, who won the voucher! They will be joining us on our fishing tour later this season, and we can’t wait to share the experience with them. 🎣🌊

🔥 The KUNENE MOUTH was an adventure as always! Driving on the beach is great fun but can be tricky. The beach can sometimes hide some sneaky waterbeds and if you don’t follow the right tracks, they’ll leave you stuck 😅. That’s why we always drive on existing tracks! Luckily, we were nearby to pull the car out. Check out the wobbly sand in the video—now you know why it’s got that name 😆!
