What is the secret of Twyfelfontein Adventure Camp? Why is this tented camp near the World Heritage Site so popular? As the day comes slowly to an end with a beautiful sunset and sundowner, high on the mountains between the red, warm rocks with a view over the spectacular Damaraland, you will feel the special nature of this place. With a bit of luck (as with us), an elephant will roam the landscape whilst you are enjoying your gin and tonic! Coffee in bed in the mornings with a view of the mountains really makes it worthwhile and ensures that you return to this breathtaking place!

Was ist das Geheimnis des Twyfelfontein Adventure Camps? Warum erfreut sich dieses Tented Camp nahe des Weltkulturerbes von so großer Beliebtheit? Spätestens beim Sundowner hoch auf dem Berg zwischen den roten, warmen Felsen mit Blick über das spektakuläre Damaraland fühlt man das Besondere dieses Platzes. Mit etwas Glück (wie bei uns) streift noch ein Elefant durch die Landschaft während man sein GinTonic genießt. Der gute Kaffee im Bett mit Blick auf die Berge macht dann wirklich sicher, dass man diesen Platz nicht vergisst und wiederkommen möchte!

Ugab Game Lodge – where expectations are exceeded and you feel like you’ve arrived at home. Outstanding owners and hosts are CP & Lizel, who have created a little gem near Vingerklip with their team. Luxurious ambience, excellent food, selected drinks, rock paintings/engravings on the farm and herds of wildlife around the lodge for that African feeling. The Ugab River is on the doorstep for an adventure, and the spectacular Vingerklip and Ugab Terraces are a stone’s throw away! Whoever comes here is doing themselves a favor and not only staying as a stopover, but also letting their soul dangle here a little!

"Some people feel the rain, others just get wet." 💦

We were lucky enough to feel the rain this weekend, even when it hurts! Pouring rain, thunder and lightning, storm and hail - what an experience it was at the Timbila Farmstead! Running river beds and the smell of rain in the air put a smile on everyone's faces. A dinner in the riverbed was the highlight of the weekend. An experience for the books! Many wonderful memories have been made over the last two days. Special thanks to Willem and Ilse for hosting our CLICK & TRAVEL Family at the Farmstead this year. It was so much fun with loads of laughter - we are truly blessed with this team!
