When in Swakopmund, do what the Swakopmunders do and enjoy the giant playeground right outside your doorstep - the dunes! We went on an educational with Swakopmund Fatbike Tour, who took us on a typical two hour ride, sightseeing the town, the Swakop river, and the neighboring dunes. The tour was extremely informative, with our guide offering plenty of interesting information about Swakopmund and the surrounding areas! The bikes are great, easy to handle and to drive even in the soft sand. All in all an excellent way to experience swakopmund, while staying active after long car drives. Give us a shout and our consultants will gladly add Swakopmund Fatbike Tours to your itinerary.🌞🚴♀️

Potjiekos – camping Comfort Food💥
Potjiekos is a traditional Southern African dish, a hearty stew cooked slowly in a cast iron pot over an open fire. “Potjie” means “small pot” in Afrikaans, and “kos” means “food.” The magic of Potjiekos lies in its layers of ingredients—meat, vegetables, and spices—cooked together without stirring over a long period of time, allowing each layer to infuse its flavor into the dish.
Potjiekos is a perfect way to experience local food culture while on the road. Just get it going, enjoy an evening around the campfire, and let time do it’s magic]

Victoria falls on the Zambezi river is a true highlight of any trip to southern Africa. The majestic falls spanning hundreds of meters are on the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, and can be visited from either Livingstone on the Zambian side, or the town of Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.
Victoria Falls park on the Zimbabwean side is a “must” for all visitors. The park runs along the edge of the gorge, and offers multiple viewpoints to the falls, with clearly marked and easily passable walkways. The spray and mist rising from the river gorge is a welcome recluse from the heat of the day. Prepare with plenty of sun block, a hat, and a water bottle as it is easy to spend a few hours exploring the park and the falls on foot.
