My son's curiosity about how my Monday had been led me to share a story that began with a simple 'Out of this world!'—a phrase that barely scratched the surface of my experiences. Obviously, that brief description was not sufficient for my 5-year-old... 'Buckle up, it's story time!!!!'

Invited by FlyNamibia Airline for the launch of their new route from Windhoek to Victoria Falls, the day promised adventure, and it definitely did not disappoint. Upon arrival, Shearwater Victoria Falls welcomed us, setting the stage for an unforgettable exploration of one of the world's most magnificent natural wonders.

Our journey continued with a short but memorable boat cruise, where Lady Luck smiled upon us, offering glimpses of hippos and their young ones—a cuteness overload. The true highlight of the day awaited us at . Our guide told us about the significance of the falls' mist, known as the 'spray of the rumbling thunder.' We were truly blessed by the droplets from the great Falls.

Another surprise awaited us: an elegant high tea at the Victoria Falls Hotel, adding a touch of grace and historical allure to our adventure. The return flight to Windhoek brought the day to a beautiful close, with the coolness after the rain serving as a refreshing welcome home.
