• Valid ICAO CPL with any of the following Ratings: C208/AC90

• Minimum 1500 hours Total Time, 100 hours Multi PIC with 100 hours Turbine or 200 hours Turbine.

• Valid Class 1 Medical.

• English and Afrikaans/German will be an advantage.

• Driver’s License Code 08.

• Excellent people skills & team player.

• Namibian Citizen or Permanent Resident will be an advantage.

Requirements as per FOM Part A Section 1:

1.15.6 The Person Responsible Aircraft Maintenance

a) Have a relevant engineering degree; or

b) Hold or have held an aircraft maintenance engineer license with ratings on the aircraft types operated by Desert Air; or

c) Be a commercial pilot with more than 5 years aviation experience related to aircraft maintenance; and

d) Have a thorough knowledge of the maintenance control system; and

e) Have knowledge of the relevant types of aircraft equivalent to a General Familiarisation Course offered by an OEM.
