Think Forum
The Think Forum started out in 2012 with 10 youths (graduates, undergraduates and non-schooling youths). The programme started with enterprise training and funding programme for youths. By the end of the first year of the programme a total of 56 youths had all secured a means of livelihood by getting employed in top companies such as Julius Berger and running businesses of their own. One of them went on to win a N10million Federal Government of Nigeria coveted YWIN Award to open and run his own company. The foundation participants in this programme are spreading the wisdom and teachings of this programme across their locations in Nigeria and around the world. WORSHIP TRAIN
Worship train is a programme contrived to give family opportunity to set out a time in the year to worship, appreciate and hear from God on His direction in our lives. The programme holds during the holidays so as to allow the participation of parents and their children. The programme was held for the first time at TINAPA in Calabar, Cross Rivers State, Nigeria. The second was held in 2013 at Le Meridian Hotel, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. FOOD OUTREACH
The Food Outreach programme was initiated to help put food on the table of the very poor amongst us. Although we have done this programme severally in the past, the programme became an official activity of EFM in 2013 when we went on a Christmas Feeding Outreach programme in Ifiayong community in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. During the programme we were able to reach out to 100 households in the community with food stuff. In September 2014 we also reached out to a group working for widows in Port Harcourt. We reached out to a total of 100 widows on that occasion with food stuff. CHILDREN OUTREACH AND SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME
The children outreach and scholarship programme is designed to meet the challenges of children from low income homes with regards to their welfare and education. This program also covers children of missionaries who have financial constraints. FAMILY EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME
This programme is designed with the burden of alleviating families from suffering as a result of not having a source of lively income. To this end, we have set up small business packs of #10,000 and #20,000 for families who have the vision of starting a small scale business but lack the finance. These businesses will be followed up and beneficiaries are expected to report on their sales and turnouts monthly for record purposes. charity shop
EFM charity shop is divided into two sections which are clothes section and food section.
1. Clothe Section
Emmanuel Foundation For Missions Clothe Section (EFMCS) is an open clothe shop for members of the general public with the passion of helping the less privileged with regards to clothing can donate new clothes and decent used clothes. These clothes are arranged, packaged and distributed or sold at discounts to those who are less privileged.
2. Food Section
Emmanuel Foundation For Missions Food Section (EFMFS) is the branch of the charity shop that deals with food stuffs. We receive dry food stuffs from members of the public with the passion of alleviating hunger amongst the less privileged, then, we stock and package in categories as we have food coupons which are issued in categories and given to the less privileged which they present at the EFMFS to redeem their food stuff packs.
