TRAVEL ABROAD THROUGH AKANU IBIAM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ENUGU

Instead of flying to Lagos or Abuja, you can travel abroad using the Akanui Biam International Airport Enugu.

Ethiopian Airlines operates international flights from Enugu Airport.
There is a flat rate for international tickets to Enugu Airport and Lagos Airport.
Residents of Enugu, Anambra, Ebonyi, Port Harcourt, Imo and Abia can fly and transport their imports and exports from Enugu, Akanu-Ibiam International Airport to over 125 destinations and destinations across five continents including Asia, Africa and the Americas South. The same price applies to cargo flights departing from Lagos, Abuja and Enugu.

DUBAI FLIGHTS COULD RESUME DECEMBER AS FG CLEARS AIRLINES’ TRAPPED FUNDS MORE THAN HALVES

AIR PEACE SECURES PERMIT TO OPERATE INTO UK

Air Peace Nigeria Limited’s Chairman and CEO, Allen Onyema has revealed that the airline has successfully obtained the Foreign Carrier Operator Permit and Third Country Operator Permit.
Following thorough audits, Air Peace now meets the stringent safety standards and is qualified to operate flights to Europe and the United Kingdom.

According to reports, Onyema who disclosed this in a press statement said, “We obtained these permits that qualify us to fly to UK, before you obtain these approvals, they will audit you very well. You have to go through stringent audit, which we passed. We obtained the permit last week.”

United Nigeria Airlines, one of the leading domestic airlines in Nigeria, has finalized its plans to commence regular flights to the Chuba Okadibo International Cargo Airport in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

The niche Abakaliki route is one of eight new routes the fast-growing airline has earmarked for operations, according to findings in the fact sheet. Speaking to FACTSHEET, a senior executive of the airline confirmed: "Yes, we will start flights to Abakaliki airport before September."

Apart from the niche route of Abakaliki, the airline will also expand its operations to other routes including Benin City, Sokoto, Jos, Ibadan, Akure, Maiduguri and Kano.

United Nigeria currently flies to Anambra, Abuja, Bayelsa, Asaba, Enugu, Warri, Port Harcourt and Owerri.

The current longest runway in Nigeria will be found at the Ebonyi Airport, which was constructed under the watch of the immediate past governor of Ebonyi State, Chief Engr. David Umahi.

GERMANY’S IMMIGRATION LAW CREATES NEW JOB OPPORTUNITIES FOR NIGERIANS

The German parliament has passed an immigration law on Friday designed to encourage more people from outside the European Union, including Nigeria, to come to Germany for work.
According to Interior Minister of Social Democrats (SPD), Nancy Faeser, the draft law secures prosperity in Germany. “It would only work if the bureaucratic hurdles were dismantled during its implementation,” she said, like many European countries, Germany faces a shortage of skilled workers.

According to Report Monitored from Euro News, the reforms are to modernise the country’s immigration legislation expected to make it easier for third-country nationals to work in Germany. It could increase the number of non-EU workers in Germany by 60,000 per year.
