Efunporoye Osuntinubu Olumosa (often shortened to Efunroye Tinubu CA. 1805-1887) is well celebrated and applauded as series business woman and well accomplished historically but i deeply frowned at this gesture because this woman ‘‘Efunroye Tinubu’’ is a chronic slave trader, largely in Western Nigeria area (Abeokuta, Lagos to be precise).

She accumulates wealth selling her captured slaves, trading them for salt and to***co to European and Brazilian slaves buyers.

She is the Queen of Barbados for one last day.

At midnight, the Caribbean island will become the world's newest republic, removing Queen Elizabeth II as its head of state.

Prince Charles is in the country for a handover ceremony, as a representative of the Queen, but also in his role as her successor as head of the Commonwealth – in which Barbados will remain.

The Prince of Wales will see a final salute to the British monarchy and watch as the Queen's standard is lowered.

Barbados Prime Minister Mia Mottley said: "it was time… to fully leave our colonial past behind."

Meet the Dinka tribe of South Sudan which young male pays 100 to 200 cows as a lady bride's price and she's not allow to cook until after 3yrs.

In Dinka/Jieeng culture - South Sudan, despite their marriage being expensive (100 - 500 cows) women are treated like gods.

Once a man gets married, his wife will not cook or touch anything like a broom to sweep the floor for about 3 years. They called this period "nyuuc". That period is meant for her to rest, relax and enjoy as she grow more beautiful. Her husband's sisters will be helping her in house works like cooking, sweeping, collecting firewood, fetching water and garden work. In the evening hours she will meet other brides and roam around in beautiful wears. Later her husband will decide and arrange a big party and slaughter a cow or goats to celebrate welcoming party (thät) again. His wife will start to cook for the family and they rejoice.

This is how love is expressed to the new bride in Dinka culture. ❤

Airlines could soon start weighing passengers before flight amid fears aircraft are being overloaded by 'fat' passengers

A new report suggests that Airlines passengers may be required to step on the scale at the airport or share how much they weigh before boarding a flight.

This measure is because Americans are getting "fatter" and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is concerned aircraft may be overloaded.

Airline carriers are tasked with calculating the weight and balance of their aircraft to ensure it is within allowable limits for the safety of the plane.

Increasing obesity rates in the United States, however, dictate that the standard numbers used by the airline industry to average out passenger weight is likely outdated and therefore, unsafe to use.

Now, air carriers may have to update average passenger weight by weighing them at the gate, circular advisory sent out by the FAA states.

Under the new pending requirements, reviewed by airline industry publication AirInsightGroup, airlines would be mandated to take surveys to set "standard average passenger weights" for crew members, baggage and passengers through random sampling and call on passengers to participate.

"Regardless of the sampling method used, an operator has the option of surveying each passenger and bag abroad the aircraft and should give a passenger the right to decline to participate in any passenger or weight survey," the guidance says, according to AirInsightGroup.

The survey is said to be conducted on a voluntary basis, so if a passenger declines to participate, the airline is advised to select another traveler at random, according to the guidance.

UNWTO LAUNCHES GLOBAL GUIDELINES TO REOPEN TOURISM

The World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has released a set of guidelines to help tourism sector emerge stronger and more sustainably from COVID-19. The guidelines highlight the need to act decisively, to restore confidence and, as UNWTO strengthens its partnership with Google, to embrace innovation and the digital transformation of global tourism.

The guidelines were produced in consultation with the Global Tourism Crisis Committee and aim to support governments and private sector to recover from an unparalleled crisis. Depending on when travel restrictions are lifted, the United Nations specialized agency warns that international tourist arrivals could fall by between 60% and 80%. This puts 100-120 million jobs at risk and could lead to US$ 910 billion to US$ 1.2 trillion lost in exports.

UNWTO Secretary-General Zurab Pololikashvili said: “These guidelines provide both governments and businesses with a comprehensive set of measures designed to help them open tourism up again in a safe, seamless and responsible manner. They are the product of the enhanced cooperation that has characterized tourism’s response to this shared challenge, building on knowledge and inputs from across the public and private sectors and from several UN agencies as part of the UN’s wider response.” Safe and security protocols for tourism recovery
The new guide, a follow up of the Recommendations for Action already endorsed by the Committee, is focused on seven priorities for tourism recovery based on the pillars of mitigating the economic impact, developing safety protocols and coordinated responds and fostering innovation.

The guidelines highlight the importance of restoring the confidence of the travelers through safety and security protocols designed to reduce risks in each step of the tourism value chain. These protocols include the implementation of check procedures where appropriate, including temperature scans, testing, physical distancing, enhanced frequency of cleaning and the provision of hygiene kits for safe air travel, hospitality services or safe events.
