Dear Business Partners,

Trust this information finds you well.
As a result of continuous booking errors that has increased overtime, we decided to look into the causes and to find a solution in reducing the causes of these ADMs.
Below are some of the major causes and how to avoid them

1, DUPLICATE BOOKINGS:
Do not book Ethiopian Airlines when it has a duplicate PNR already, to avoid churning.

2, WAITLIST:
Waitlist is no longer allowed on Ethiopian Airlines reservations.

3, INACTIVE SEGMENT:
Do not rebook on PNR that has HX,UC,US,NO,DL or UU.
When you retrieve bookings and find out that the above mentioned issue arises, do well to cancel the booking out rightly.

4, CHURNING:
(a) Booking can only be modified twice on a particular PNR.
(b) Excess cancellation on bookings attracts ADM.

5, (a) All ET reservations less than 24hrs before departure is instant purchase.
(b) All uncancelled bookings 24hrs before departure of original flight is an automatic "No-show" Agent would be penalized for that.

6, DUAL GDS:
All ET bookings must end on the GDS the first booking was made.

e:g, If agent books on Sabre, the booking and the modification must continue on that same Sabre or the respective GDS.

We hope that these would be taken into due consideration.
