Lagos Hoteliers Association holds Annual General Meeting (AGM), and elect new officers.
The Lagos hoteliers Association (LHA) held her annual general meeting on the 30th of March, 2021, at her State Secretariat, Adenle road, Lagos. Participants were made up of representatives from zones across Lagos. The zones include Alimosho, Ajeromi Ifelodun, Shomolu/Bariga, Badagry, Kosofe, Ifako Ijaiye, Ikorodu, Mushin, Mainland and Ojo Zones. Other zones who sent observers include Agege, Aja/Eti-Osa, Apapa, Omole, Oshodi-Isolo and Surulere Zones.
The outgoing president, Prince Adekunle Akilo in his report thanked members for their support while he held the reigns of power. He listed his achievements to include amongst others, engaging with government parastatals, and security agencies and other related associations, to reduce challenges, bottleneck and frictions which arise in the course of our daily operations as hoteliers.
The outgoing secretary Oluomo Jamiu Talabi, also enumerated in details, to the admiration of members present, an itemized list of achievements and challenges during their tenure.
The Hoteliers Association of Nigeria (HAN)-South West Zone represented by Dr. Dapo Olaleye, gave a solidarity speech and thanked the Lagos Hoteliers Association for her support and leadership role in the south-west entertainment industry.
The Chairman of the Electoral committee Mr Adolphus Hundein, chairman of the Badagry zone, conducted new elections within the stipulated guidelines, which resulted in the election of Oluomo Jamiu Bidemi Talabi as the new president of the Lagos Hoteliers Association.

The new president, Oluomo Jamiu Bidemi Talabi in his acceptance speech thanked all for the confidence reposed in hm to lead the association. He promised to futher dedicate all he has, to ensure members enjoy a new lease of life in the operations of our various businesses.
