Our biggest career influence and why we are so passionate about our clients.
Q-life well known as Quality Life Family Clinic is a healthcare institution founded by the late Dr. Funmi Alakija. She was a primary health care physician and a specialist in travel medicine with a diploma from the royal college of surgeons & physicians, Glasgow.

She founded this clinic with the passion to improve the Nigerian health care services to globally acceptable standards.

Q-Life is a well equipped out-patient facility providing the basic health care needs of individuals at globally acceptable standards. It is a boutique yet professional type of service where a lot of emphasis is laid on prevention, early detection and prompt management of diseases all geared towards the promotion of the quality of life.

As a primary health care centre, Q- Life is the first place to visit for regular check ups, when you are unwell because we take care of over 80% of common health needs.

We empower our patients with information and carry them along in managing their health so they can make responsible and informed choices.

At Q-life Family Clinic, we place great value in investing in the training and education of all our staff to ensure our clients are treated with the utmost care and respect.

The Federal Government has declared Monday, 12 June 2023 as a Public Holiday in commemoration of this year's Democracy Day celebration.

Democracy Day marks the day the military handed over power to an elected civilian government in 1999, marking the beginning of the longest continuous civilian rule since Nigeria's independence from colonial rule in 1960.
Presidential elections were held in Nigeria on 12 June 1993, the first since the 1983 military coup ended the country's Second Republic.
In 2018, we moved Democracy Day from 29th of May to the 12th of June. This change was to remind all Nigerians of one free election after which the presumed winner along with Nigerians were denied their rights and their choice.

With our services providing consultation and medical examination in the health sector as well as working with expartraites and immigrants, it is a day to note that Nigeria is a GREAT NATION.

Visit to get all your travel medical screening done with precise accuracy.

31/05/2023

World No To***co Day (WNTD) is observed on May 31 annually with the goal to combat the increasing prevalence of to***co consumption all over the world, owing to its hazardous health effects on smokers and those who are exposed to second-hand smoke.
The theme of this year is “WE NEED FOOD, NOT TOBACCO” in which WHO (World Health Organization) and public health champions around the world will come together to celebrate.

It is estimated that there are more than 1.3 billion to***co users worldwide, which represents 22.3 per cent of the total global population. Over 80 per cent of these to***co smokers are mostly residing in low- and middle-income countries of Latin America, Africa and Asia.

According to a recent report of the WHO, to***co-related ailments, such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, lung illnesses, eye disease, emphysema, tuberculosis kill about eight million people each year around the world and 1.2 million out of the figure lose their lives from exposure to second-hand smoke.

In Nigeria, the WHO has estimated that over 30,000 Nigerians die yearly as a result of to***co-related diseases. The Nigeria To***co Control Alliance (NTCA) has also said that 246 men die weekly from to***co-related illnesses in the country.
The 2023 WNTD campaign calls on governments and policy-makers to step up legislation, develop suitable policies and strategies, and enable market conditions for to***co farmers to shift to growing food crops that would provide them and their families with a better life.

The implementation of these provisions should be strengthened in countries.

Therefore, cigarette smokers should be reminded that THEIR GOOD HEALTH is regarded as THE GREATEST WEALTH for themselves and their families. They should enjoy and appreciate this preeminent asset before it is snatched by some of the to***co-related illnesses by quitting smoking.
