It is hardly less difficult to demonstrate that major changes have been at work in the global system, changes of sufficient magnitude to suggest the emergence of new global structures, processes and patterns.

The seemingly daily occurrences of unexpected developments and the many uncertainties that prevail in every region of the world, are so pervasive as to cast doubt on the viability of the long established ways on which international affairs have been conducted and global security maintained.

It is against this backdrop, the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA) in conjunction with the Republic of Korea, is organizing a joint seminar with the theme: 'Making Sense of Security in a Turbulent World.'

Get set to join the discourse.

Aside revenue generation, the other core objectives of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), is to facilitate legitimate trade, suppress smuggling and ensure Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) within Nigeria and African Subregion.

Over the years, plethora factors have been inhibiting all efforts of NCS at fostering free trade in the African Region.

The NIIA will be having the pleasure of featuring the Ag. Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Services, Mr. BA Adeniyi MFR, in her Distinguished Lectures Series to speak on the kinds of workable reforms the NCS under him is putting in place in retooling Customs Services to effectively lubricate the African Continental Free Trade Area.

Don't miss out on this uncommon conversations.
