President Trump just pulled security clearances from Biden, Harris, Clinton, and dozens of political figures – including Biden family members, former officials like Antony Blinken and Jake Sullivan, and even Trump critics like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger.

While it's mostly symbolic (most haven't actively used these clearances in years), it's a significant break from the longstanding tradition of extending classified access to former presidents as a courtesy.

The March 22nd memorandum explicitly states these individuals no longer have a "need to know" for national security matters.

Critics are calling this payback for when Biden revoked Trump's clearance in 2021, citing his "erratic behavior." Trump had actually telegraphed this move back in February, promising to cut Biden's access.

The practical impact? Minimal for most affected individuals, though it could limit their access to certain facilities and prevent participation in national security discussions. But the political message is clear – and it highlights the intensifying partisan divide in Washington.
