NEW LAGOS TERMINAL
Great news for all travellers! 💃💃
Did you know that the new Lagos international terminal 2 has commenced operations to some airlines.
The new terminal features 66check-in counter, 16 arrival immigration desks, 28 departure immigration desks, eight security screening points, a multi-layer baggage sorting system, five arrival gates, six departure gates, seven boarding bridges.
Authorities had hoped that the new terminal would boost MM1A's annual passenger capacity to around 14 million.
The new terminal airport doesn't have the apron space to accommodate certain widebody aircraft like the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, 777, 747 and Airbus A380.
Further research shows that the only aircraft operating from the terminal for now is Air peace.
We are hopeful that with time, all international flights will be fully operational on this terminal.
