Mike Tyson participated in a live broadcast on CNBC due to the postponement of his $78 million title fight for four months because of an illness. At the end of the interview, he said the following:
M. Tyson: "Lastly, I want to take this opportunity to say a few things while we're live on air. As you know, for months now, a genocide has been carried out in Palestine by the occupying fascist Israeli regime, right in front of the world's eyes. Tens of thousands of innocent children, women, and people have lost their lives and continue to die. I want to say something to the people of the world resisting this fascist, barbaric Israeli regime: When a boxer steps into the ring, they fight for minutes, taking punches and throwing punches. Sometimes, this goes on so long that you keep throwing punches tirelessly, even into the 11th round. Spectators may think these punches are useless because the opponent is still standing, trying to give the impression that they are strong and invincible. But boxers know that this is not the case. Every punch thrown during those 11 rounds actually serves the purpose of that final, devastating blow. And when the time comes, that noble final punch will knock your opponent down. Don't listen to those who try to convince us that our resistance against Israel isn't working. Donβt believe in the devil who wants to show that Israel is an unbeatable, invincible opponent. Every punch we throw is in service of that final punch that will bring it down. We will resist without tiring or falling. We are continuing the boycott, we are continuing the resistance. I have respect for every person of every color, race, and religion who joins this resistance. Please, do not give up; think of the final punch. No evil is stronger than you..."
Mike Tyson delivered this speech recently, despite being interrupted four times, and finished it completely.
