Life is complicated because its fabric is woven with complex threads. So, don't try to make it seem simpler than it is, or you might get hurt.
That's why the wise have learnt not to slip into the abyss of ignorance and apathy by consciously and cautiously walking the terrains of other people's pain before passing judgement on matters that pertain to humans and humanity.

You can be remarkably anointed with a great depth in God, and yet seemingly unknown or underappreciated until much later in life.
Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

Nowadays, one reason for the oversight of many greatly anointed, graced and skilled individuals may be that they are not very loud with their sound verifiable results and testimonials of great works done for God and man, which are often targeted and prized by those with larger platforms as a tool for the viral publicity of their network. As a result, greatly anointed and graced is temporarily overlooked and undervalued, despite their profound anointing and contributions to people in the corporate workplace and ecclesiastical settings.
And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,
The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;
The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Only those who genuinely appreciate and acknowledge the weight and worth of who you are and what you carry that will readily use their platforms to promote and support you, regardless of their connections, networks, net worth, outward appearance and level of recognition.
And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.
And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.

Every truly great man is a greatly and truly helped man.
Never deny people the same help, favour, and mercy that you were given yesterday that has now made you great today.
Make happen today for people under your leadership and radar of influence in all sectors of life, the same favour and help you enjoyed yesterday when you were least likely to be who and where you are today.
Wole Adeleke is my name. All else is an honourable mention. In all things, let love rule out hate, light rule out darkness, collaboration rule out unhealthy competition and rivalry, and spotlight your humanity with integrity and humility.

Always think of this Yorùbá aphorism:
"Ìgbà o lo bí o réré, ayé o lo bi òpá ìbon,"- meaning, nothing is permanent with time.
Yes, time is very, very, very powerful. Time derobes and robes. It arms and disarms. It allows for inclusiveness and exclusiveness of people and things.
Time is never oblivious nor is it ever stagnant. It is ever-conscious and never sleeps. Therefore, be careful not to be consumed by the merry of wealth, the glory of beauty, or the ego of power in your present life because every day of your life is merely preparing for the next.
If you're rich, powerful, poor, or have any opportunity today, don't live as if everything is permanent.
Never live today and forget tomorrow. Your tomorrow will be determined by how you live today.

Never oversimplify successes and failures. Don't blame all failures on disrespecting systems or credit all successes to honoring them.
It's wisdom to holistically consider systemic flaws, individual actions, and unforeseen circumstances when dealing with events of failures and successes in people and organizations.
So, learn to approach discussions in such domains with nuance, humility, and empathy, and learn from others' experiences.
Never judge or mock a pain you have never experienced, for the terrains of life are extremely slippery.
