Will you believe this is Akwaibom state ?
This is Eastern Obolo !!
This is the Akwaibom they will never show you.
Eastern Obolo is located in the Niger Delta fringe between Imo and Qua Iboe Rivers estuaries and lies between latitudes 4° 28' and 4° 53' and longitudes 7° 50' and 7° 55' East. It is bounded to the north by Mkpat Enin Local Government Area, northeast by Onna, west by Ikot Abasi, southeast by Ibeno Local Government Area and in the south by the Atlantic Ocean.
The Atlantic Ocean is the second-largest of the world's five oceans, with an area of about 106,460,000 km2 (41,100,000 sq mi). It covers approximately 20% of Earth's surface and about 29% of its water surface area. It is known to separate the "Old World" of Africa, Europe and Asia from the "New World" of the Americas in the European perception of the World.

Showcase the sights and sounds of a location or activity;

Capture cultural expressions, celebrations and other activities;

Highlight being outside your comfort zone, such as trying local food, dignity of labour; or having a unique experience;

Showcase our development strides

Mode of entry
One entry per participant is allowed.
A title and short description is required for each entry.
Participants are also required to record themselves in the making of their entry and submit separately as their second file.
Eligibility
Open to Photographers resident in Akwa Ibom State (Amateur and Professionals)

By submitting a photo, you retain the rights to your works while granting the organisers or her representatives the right to reproduce and display the works (in whole or in part) without further notification. Read details of Indemnity on the Submission page.

GENERAL RULES

All participants must be 18 years or older. The pictures and videos must be captured or recorded in Akwa Ibom State.

You must have full copyrights to the submitted material, including sound/effects and music (if used).

Competition submissions must not include any endorsements of products or services, or any obscene, violent, racist or defamatory content.

Incomplete entries or entries that do not comply with the formal specifications will be automatically disqualified.

There are two categories for the contest:

PHOTOGRAPHY
All photos must be submitted as .jpg, .jpeg, or .png It should each be a maximum of 4 MB in size.

CINEMATOGRAPHY
All video entries must Not exceed 60 seconds duration It must NOT exceed 15mb file size. There should NOT be voiceover and only indigenous music with copyright permission is acceptable. All videos must be submitted in .mp4 format.
