Two and a bit years after it all began, we finally got to the point that wiring & lights could be installed upstairs. Actually on that trip (2019) the entire house needed to be re-wired because of some questionable things our American house sitter had done.

It would still be another year before tile was put in (upstairs, downstairs, and all the verandas.)

The roaring ocean waves 🌊 could be heard LOUD and clear as the sun started to come up, before all the other noises of the day take over.

The little building for the water tank is taking shape! This tank will service both suites (upper & lower). Water pressure on our road (& coming up the hill) isn’t the best 😆 so this is going to be a big deal!

Sneaking up on a dragon 🐉 (large iguana 😆). If you’ve been to Mexico, or even to Little Corn Island, this one will look small, but there aren’t a lot of big ones around on Big Corn Island because many islanders here eat them. 😔
