Gustavo Mondragon Molina was born in Granada, Nicaragua, a colonial city founded in 1,524 by the Spaniards, a beautiful place destined to be the tourism capital of the country for its warm atmosphere, gorgeous islands in Lake Nicaragua and powerful Mombacho volcano. Raised in a family where mom and dad were teachers, education was always a priority and he was always fascinated by the history of this small but passionate country. He attended the local trade school where next to the regular high school program he started learning about tourism management, although it was focusing mostly on business he was captivated by the history, nature, geography and above all the culture of Nicaragua so he began to take part of many specialized training programs in all those fields and provided by some of the most respected experts of the country, this granted Gustavo his license as a Nicaraguan tour guide. His passion for Nicaragua, motivated him to continue learning about this growing industry and to obtain a University degree in Tourism and Hospitality.
