verlooking distant volcanoes. The rooftop is a spacious flat patio with a 360 degree view of the ocean and surrounding countryside. Downstairs is an open concept kitchen, dining and living room. The fully stocked kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, polished concrete counter tops and a large pantry. Custom shelving and cupboards created from tropical Tiger Wood. You can eat at the large wood slab dining table or the Tiger Wood breakfast bar. The dining and living room open up through 3 large arched doorways to the stone patio overlooking the pool and Pacific Ocean beyond. Relax on the stone patio beside our pool outfitted with 2 small waterfalls. And of course you can walk directly from the deck down to the black sand beach and the Pacific Ocean! We will await guests upon arrival to meet and greet and will be available to make all arrangements with you directly during your stay. We can arrange all excursions with our local partners including surfing, fishing, volcano boarding, volcano zip-lining, gaze into a volcano vent at Massaya, coffee farm tours, León city trips, as well as transfers to any destination. The house may be accessed in the dry season in a car however the last few miles are rough road. In the wet season the house can only be accessed using a 4X4. LEON
The city of Leon is approximately a 60 minute drive away. All city amenities are available in Leon. SALINAS GRANDES
Salinas Grandes is located nearby, 35 minute drive away. This is a small fishing village where you can buy fresh fish caught just offshore in the ocean. SURFING
There is excellent surfing directly out from the house. Surfers will enjoy unfettered access to the waves. Due to the seclusion of the house there will be no line ups waiting for the next wave. The popular Puerto Sandino is very close by - within a short boat ride from the house. Talk to us to arrange a boat ride out to Puerto Sandino, or just to ride on the ocean or tour the estuary. FISHING
Many fishing opportunities await the avid fisherman. A 25 minute drive away is a river mouth where at high tide you can fish among locals. There is also an estuary a short walk or drive inland from the house where you can cast for many types of ocean fish at high tide. And you will find success surf cast fishing directly out from the house on the Pacific. Arrangements can also be made to fish offshore in a locally owned panga.
