We are still glowing and shining after yesterday. We are proud of what we accomplished, but even prouder of the visitors who really stepped up to do things differently. Better. With more concern for each other and for our world. Realizing a little better that it really can be done, because roads have been cleared at this event.

The Palmiarnia in Gdańsk 🇵🇱 is a botanical garden and greenhouse complex that houses a variety of exotic plants, in sometimes violent atmospheric conditions. For example, there is incredibly high humidity, which affects the coating.
It's a good thing that this beautiful greenhouse is coated in our SteelKote, so it will stay as pretty as it is for a very long time!

The Ferris Wheel Katowice is located in the cultural and business center of 📍 Katowice, near the Spodek Arena and the Silesian Museum.
The Ferris wheel has 36 cabins and accommodates up to 216 passengers. With a height of about 50 meters, it offers panoramic views of Katowice and the surrounding region. We especially like the sight of the Ferris wheel and its cabins itself!

Another day, another Baril project 🔥 This time the SOCEP grain silos in Constanta 🇷🇴, that are coated with:

The SOCEP grain silos in Constanta Romania, are not only an important functional part of the trade infrastructure, but also a fascinating architectural and cultural monument that reflects the history and character of the region.
Although the silos primarily serve a functional purpose 🌾, they are also recognized as cultural heritage because of their architectural value and historical significance ✨ They are a source of pride for the local community and are often admired by visitors for their unique appearance. As a city, Gdansk 🇵🇱 has always benefited from its location on the Baltic Sea 🌊 and has historically been an important center for trade, shipping and crafts. Today there are several buoys in Gdansk as essential maritime navigational aids 🧐
These buoys are exposed to extremely corrosive conditions, against which our coating optimally protects them.

It's been a week since we were in the finals of the Circulaire Innovatie Top! We enjoyed the wonderful ideas of the other finalists and are grateful to the organization for allowing us to make our own mission known on this stage 🙏
Feedback from the judges was that they strongly believe in our innovations and were impressed by the steps we have already taken. Because we are in transition and still have some steps to go, the win passed us by. We realize we are not there yet, but are incredibly motivated and positive to achieve our mission: 100% renewable by 2030 ♻️🪴💚

YES! We zijn winnaar van de Brabantse Circulaire Innovatie Award in de categorie ‘Circulaire Change Maker’. Met deze prestatie gaan we door naar de landelijke finale die plaatsvindt op 15 maart. Een megamooie waardering voor ons businessmodel, waarmee we de hele verfmarkt willen verduurzamen.

To prevent icy and slippery roads in winter, Ozamet develops 'state-of-the-art' salt spreaders. Baril Coatings Poland convinced Ozamet to convert the traditional 3-layer system they were using into a 2-layer "NORSOK" tested DualCure system from Baril Coatings; 306 DualCure zinc primer & 171i2 DualCure SX DTM Finish 60. This system provides protection for corrosion class C5 with 2 coats, 200 microns Dft. with superior colour and gloss retention. The total system is applied within a time frame of less than 3 hours!
By using the DualCure Chemistry system, developed by Baril Coatings, less coating is needed. This is better for the environmental impact and leads to a more durable result. This coating is dirt-repellent, so there is less dirt adhesion. This leads to less maintenance and lower maintenance costs.

You know better than anyone that steel coating is not limited to coating steel bar constructions. Just look at Lighthouse Rozewie, coated with 848 SteelKote and 808 SteelKote. What a top project! You can find this lighthouse in Władysławowo, Poland. We bet it still looks as good as today, in a couple of years.
