Following therecent violent events in Amsterdam, we mobilized to assist Israeli citizens and our country, and we will continue to do so as needed.
We operated a total of eight flights from Amsterdam to Tel Aviv - six flights on Friday and two additional flights on Saturday, with all evacuation flights operated on wide-body aircraft. We flew a total of approximately 2,000 passengers back home.
These evacuation flights, which cost millions of shekels, were fully funded by EL AL and were free for passengers.
Additionally, we responded to over 10,000 inquiries received by our customer service center.
We are proud to be a pillar for Israelis, even in difficult times.

We’ve had a complex and challenging year, in which we flew significantly more passengers than planned. As part of our strategic focus on service experience, we are proud to announce that for the fourth year in a row, we have earned the highest rating of five stars in APEX’s prestigious airline survey, in the customer experience category. This category covers various aspects of the flight experience, including seat comfort, food and beverages, entertainment systems, WiFi services, passenger service, and more.

APEX evaluates the in-flight service experience of approximately 600 of the world’s leading airlines. This year, they raised the ranking criteria and selected 40 airlines that represent less than 7% of airlines worldwide to receive five-star service ratings.

This award is shared by all EL AL employees, who make every effort to ensure our flights operate smoothly. We believe that the foundation of a good hospitality and service experience starts with constant attention to customers, a desire to improve, and investing resources and energy. Thank you for choosing us. Your trust in us is what drives us to continue, and we are moving forward with changes and upgrades.

We honor the memory of the victims as we mark the National Remembrance Day for the October 7th tragedy. We are commemorating the day in several ways.

We will observe a moment of silence on our flights, both in the air and on the ground, accompanied by an announcement in memory of the victims. The boarding passes were specially designed to commemorate the National Remembrance Day. We will provide crew members and passengers with anemone stickers to wear on their lapels, commemorating the victims and symbolizing the hope in our hearts.

Due to recent security events, we would like to update that as of now, our flight schedule is operating as usual. All of our flights in the coming weeks are at very high occupancy rates, with no available seats, especially until Rosh Hashanah.

We are working to increase flight capacity as much as possible and we ask all passengers whose flights have been canceled on foreign airlines to be patient and recommend flying to Athens, Greece or Larnaca, Cyprus and register with travel agents on a waiting list for flights back to Israel. We would like to remind you that the prices of flights to Athens and Larnaca are fixed at $299 for a round-trip ticket to Athens, and $199 for a round-trip ticket to Larnaca, and about half the amount for a one-way ticket from these destinations. In addition to destinations with the fixed price, we have set maximum prices for all EL AL destinations until the end of October, subject to seat availability on flights.

We are doing everything we can to assist and fly reservists with active mobilization orders or people with emergency cases, with a focus on urgent medical cases.
We will continue operating as much as possible to maintain the air connectivity to and from Israel, while providing service to all passengers wherever they may be.
