Is Poznan from Poland worth visiting?

Our answer would be definitely a big YES!

Poznań is a town steeped in history, as it was the first capital of Poland and seen by many as the birthplace of the Polish nation. Today it is a diverse and vibrant town, with much to divert the traveller. It has a stunningly rejuvenated central square, thriving night-life, fascinating museums and many attractions in the surrounding area.

Stroll into Poznań's Old Town square on any evening and you’ll receive an instant introduction to the characteristic energy of Wielkopolska’s capital. The city centre is buzzing at any time of the day, and positively jumping by night, full of people heading to its many restaurants, pubs and clubs. The combination of international business travellers attending its numerous trade fairs and the city's huge student population has created a distinctive vibe quite independent of tourism.

Would you live to stroll around the streets of Ostuni, Puglia?

Puglia – the “spur” and “heel” of the Italian boot – is one of Europe's great agricultural areas, its immense plains and rolling hills producing much of Italy's wine and olive oil, vast quantities of its fruit and vegetables, and most of the hard durum wheat used to make its pasta!

Koh Tao – meaning ‘Turtle Island’ – lives up to its name, being the scuba diving destination of choice in Thailand. The perfect white-sand beaches which ring the hilly 21 km² island are surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Thailand. The vibrant coral reefs there are home to a wide range of exciting and colourful sea creatures, including turtles, naturally.

The choice of restaurants and nightlife establishments has also been constantly growing, to the point that there is now something for almost every taste. So far from civilisation while still being relatively easily reached, it is the idyllic tropical island paradise.

Tulum, a breathtaking stretch of sand along Mexico’s eastern coast, has a reputation as the ultimate place for an unplugged beach vacation for a good reason.

In contrast to the mega-resorts of neighboring Cancun and the Riviera Maya, the places to stay in Tulum are all eco-friendly and laid-back. You'll spend your days here eating fresh fish tacos, doing yoga overlooking the water, and reading in a palapa on the beach.
The main draw is Tulum's gorgeous beach, one of the best in Mexico, plus the casual vibe of downtown—these two distinct areas, about a 20-minute drive apart, are where you'll spend all your time. And unlike other beach getaways in Mexico, Tulum has several things to see, from historic ruins and the Sian Ka’an Biosphere Reserve to world-class shops and restaurants.

What is it about Bali that captures the hearts and imagination of travellers and keeps them coming back?

Bali is one of the world’s most unique destinations. Steeped in culture and tradition it is also the home of gracious hospitality and a thriving tourism industry.

Also known as the Land of the Gods, Bali appeals through its sheer natural beauty of looming volcanoes and lush terraced rice fields that exude peace and serenity.

It is also famous for surfers’ paradise! Bali enchants with its dramatic dances and colorful ceremonies, its arts, and crafts, to its luxurious beach resorts and exciting nightlife. And everywhere, you will find intricately carved temples.

Koh Tao is for sure one of the best hidden gems from Thailand. Here there are several great natural sites and outdoor activities to keep you occupied.Get ready to watch sunrises and sunsets from the dozen or so beaches, go sunbathing, ocean kayaking, shooting at a gun range, and rock climbing. Some of the best snorkeling can be found in Hin Wong Reef.

One thing I loved about Koh Tao was the sustainability efforts and all the businesses that are collectively reducing their negative impact on the environment.

In the end, Koh Tao is a picture-perfect island of white sands, aquamarine waters, and palm trees caressing its coastline.

Yes, this is somewhere in Lisbon, even if it doesn’t look like that!

This is the National Museum of Natural History and Sciencel. Its collection includes items pertaining to zoology, anthropology, geology and botany, with a total of over 620,000 objects. It is located next to the Botanic Garden.

This museum which both arouses and satisfies a curiosity in so many subjects is one of Lisbon’s most emblematic attractions.

I consider Lisbon my second home somehow, because 4 years ago I lived there a few months volunteering in a humanitarian project. It was for sure life changing, but besides that I had the chance to truly discover Portugal’s cultural beauty.

In the midst of one of the driest climates in the world is an oasis town with lush palm trees, flourishing foliage, and a tranquil lagoon which is said to have curative properties.

The magical town is called Huacachina, and it can be found not only on adventurers' bucket lists, but also in a barren desert in Peru.

In Fez, the medina has narrow, car-free alleys where hundreds of merchants and craftsmen sell a range of products such as dates, fish, spices, copper urns, carpets and musical instruments.
Fez is also famous for its leather products and most of it comes from the leather bazaar (souq). The souq is home to three ancient leather tanneries, the largest and oldest being the Chouara Tannery, which is almost a thousand years old.

The smell is not the best to be honest, but it is part of their cultural heritage so it is definitely a place to explore and understand.

Demand a deserted tropical beach all to yourself? Want rainforests, mountains, ancient tribal villages and terraced rice paddies? Won’t leave the house for anything less than world-class diving? All sorted. Philippines is the perfect place for all the things listed above.
From the moment we laid our eyes on the Philippines, it was love at first sight. From Boracay’s white sand beaches, to the seaside cliffs of Palawan, this humble island country has given us more to fall in love with than other place we’ve visited.

Glamping is definitely a must especially in Morocco. Experiential travel is an authentic way to connect with nature. Together, the experience is about stepping off the beaten path, walking away from superficial tourist activities and embracing an immersive cultural environment. By pushing themselves out of their comfort zones, experiential travelers experience a shift in perspective that improves the way they connect with the world. This transformational style of travel will enrich a person’s life and, ultimately, leave an impression that lasts much longer than the journey itself.

Essaouira is one of those small towns in Morocco you hear people say how much they loved; yet you don’t get to know much about it. That is, until you get there. And once there, you see why people love it!

In the twentieth century, Essaouira has rebounded, its secular multiculturalism has allowed it to welcome artisans from all over Morocco, but also many international artists.
Anyway, this brings up another characteristic of Essaouira.
It used to be a hippy center back in the 70’s, with high influences of Bob Marley and Jimi Hendrix.
One thing is for sure in Essaouira; it will be easy for you to relax in this small town and love it for its history, beauty, and simplicity combined.

Now you know why I love Essaouira. Can’t wait to go back with , so stay tuned and join us in our future female expeditions! ✈️

One of the most scenic sunsets ever! Ouarzazate has stood at the edge of the Sahara desert for hundreds of years. A city of palm trees, sandy streets and blocky, fort-like buildings, this is the Morocco seen in a hundred movies. The name Ouarzazate comes from ‘quiet place’, and compared to many of its fellow Moroccan towns and cities, there is a certain calm to be found here. Inside its walls you’ll find new complexes, plus film studios which have made the most of their photogenic location. Outside the city is the reason most people come to Ouarzazate: the stunning Sahara. Take a trek out to the nearby villages and kasbahs, see the breathtaking Todra Gorge, and marvel at one of the world’s great natural wonders or simply bask in the quiet bustle of the bargaining sessions at local markets.
