: Concertgebouw Orchestra's & Vilde Frang plays Shostakovich

Concertgebouw Orchestra's upcoming concert features renowned conductor Semyon Bychkov leading works by Dvořák, Shostakovich, and Rachmaninoff, with violinist Vilde Frang adding to the excitement.

Opening with Dvořák's Carnival Overture, the concert kicks off with a celebration of life. Then, Frang joins the orchestra for Shostakovich's First Violin Concerto, a dramatic piece defying Soviet norms, filled with fear, sorrow, and defiance.
