There’s nothing quite like fresh snow when it falls here. Amsterdam is a magical city at the best of times, but when the snow falls it goes up several notches.

Look at this photo I’ve just seen on Facebook. I’m going to share it on here because I love that you can capture the mood of a Christmas afternoon in Amsterdam without actually making a point of photographing Amsterdam itself. This photo really makes me feel exactly how I feel after a long tour around the city when I enjoy a hot chocolate with one of our guests.

Beautiful autumn shot of Amsterdam here.

A rare occurrence to see the lights on around the bridges in the day time here. Normally the lights come on about 30 minutes after sunset.

Seeing windmills is often on visiting people’s bucket lists. We at Amsterdam Photo Safari take our guests to 2 different sites. They are the 2 best in the country. Zaanse Schans, as seen in this photo can be combined with a day tour around Amsterdam. We also go to Kinderdijk which is a full day tour on its own.
