Moved to Mauritius!🏝

We’ve been a bit quiet. This move has bin a bit different than when we moved to the Netherlands. This time we had two extra carry-ons :)

Almost two months in “Ritius”, as Noah calls it, and we’re loving it! Slow pace, being outdoors, and a lot of quality family time.

We walk, we ride bike, we go to the beach, we build sand castles, we hike, we swim, we drink flying dodo.

We embrace the now.

So, if you are here and keen for a shoot, let me know! Sunsets, blue water, sandy beaches, palm trees and bougainvilleas do make amazing backdrops!;)

I decided to take some photos of Noah’s room before I move out his cot and give him a proper bed:)

His room was inspired by all our travels across the world:

- Noah was born in the Netherlands.
- We lived in a campervan for three months where we traveled to Italy & Slovenia.
- In the Netherlands we lived on top of a “Christelike Boekhandelaar” . When Noah was born they gave as a card “Je hoeft niet bang te zijn” that is on his wall with a voucher that we bought some books with.
- When he turned one I drew a picture “Little Adventurer” And that is our wish for him, to always be an adventurer and dream big.
- When Theodore and I met “5 years time” from Noah and The Whale was our favorite song.
- And when we were traveling in Sri Lanka with a TukTuk we decided that Noah would be his name.
- Theodore and I will always buy a small wooden reminder of how we traveled through a country
- A TukTuk in Sri Lanka, Our Land Rover Defender that we have been places to and a scooter that we used to travel all around Bali. We still need a Fred The Camper:)
- Noah has been to 7 countries - we pin it on his world map.
- And his beautiful carpet is from our amazing friends that moved from the Netherlands to Zambia, so we decided to take it back to SA.
- Oh, and Noah LLLOOOVVESSS monkeys!!
