Royal Baarn is an international presentation & promotion of the village of Baarn, The Netherlands with interesting information about shopping, dining, culture, pictures, parks, palaces and other points of interest for tourists. Baarn is beautifully situated in the centre of The Netherlands and it is not a long way from Amsterdam, Utrecht or The Hague. Since most people from abroad usually only vis

De Koninklijke NS wachtkamer.

De koning of koningin hoeft niet veel te wachten, maar op de trein moeten zij al tientallen jaren, net als iedere andere Nederlander, toch even wachten! Omdat het spoor volgens de treindienst wordt bereden, kan een koninklijke trein niet wachten tot de koning(in) arriveert. Daar hebben ze vroeger wat op bedacht: de koninklijke wachtruimte, met voldoende comfort en privacy voor de koninklijke familie. In Baarn hebben we deze wachtruimte de afgelopen jaren samen met NS gerenoveerd. Hier geven je een kijkje van binnen.

On my website royalbaarn.com you find accommodation, free wifi spots etc. Baarn is beautifully situated in the centre of The Netherlands and it is not a long way from Amsterdam, Utrecht or The Hague. Since most people from abroad usually only visit the cities, I thought it would be nice to tell them about the small nice villages as well. So my idea was to tell people about the assets of Baarn and what it has to offer to visitors from abroad.

I started on Facebook on March 24, 2011 and my official role as ambassador ended* on December 31, 2017

*I may return in case of a very good offer ;-)
