Last week, we held an Officers Dialogue for Iver Ships B.V. in Manila, Philippines. Over two days, our valued crew members came together for meetings and a high-heat course, with the events organised by manning agent Vroon-Fil Ship Management.

As well as all the hard work, our colleagues made time to celebrate being part of the Vroon family!

This week, CEO Martijn Schouten travelled to Saint John (Canada), with Iver Ships Managing Director Leon van Duivendijk and QHSE Officer Angelo Mestidio. As well as visiting Irving Oil’s head office, they also spent some time on board product tanker Acadian.

Last Tuesday, Capt. Mark Butler was chatting to the Breda call centre during Vroon24. This week, he was able to speak face-to-face with a management delegation. He and his crew gave Martijn, Leon and Angelo a warm welcome, sharing their enthusiasm for the vessel and their operations.

Acadian is one of two Candian-flagged product tankers operated by Iver Ships and on charter with Irving. Both vessels trade in the eastern coastal waters of Canada.

Thanks to the vessel’s crew for their time and hospitality. We wish you safe sailings!
