N-Sea Group and its trusted partner Neptune Marine can look back on a wonderful event that took place yesterday at the Neptune Ship Yard in Hardinxveld-Giessendam.

Clients, relations and supply chain were welcomed by Arno van Poppel and Martin de Kok for the launch of the first dedicated cable repair and installation vessel CURO and the christening of the newbuild EuroCarrier 3314 DPII named 'Inne K'.

We would like to thank anyone contributing to this wonderful afternoon for their attendance and positive contribution to the event.

Neptune Marine Service B.V., has recently converted the existing anchored barge NP-459 into a dedicated cable repair DP2 vessel with 50t offshore knuckleboom crane named CURO. This vessel will be available from medio June 2024 for cable repair & installation projects and will be sailing for its first inter-array replacement project in Germany in coming 2 weeks.

The CURO is equipped with an innovative cable repair spread including a dual basket carousel, to repair and replace HVAC and HVDC inter-array cables, export cables and inter-connectors. Due to the combination of its 8-point mooring system and DP2 capabilities, the vessel can operate year-round in both very shallow (beach able) and deep-water conditions.

From 11-12 June 2024 the 2nd edition of the International Workshop on Polish Baltic Offshore Windfarms takes place in Hotel Faltom Rumia, Gdynia, Poland.

To accelerate development of Polish content in the development, building and maintenance of upcoming offshore wind farms in Poland The Gdynia Maritime School and Onsite HV Solutions in a partnership with, among others, the N-Sea Group, decided to a joint organisation of an international workshop.

The goal is that both companies already having international experiences in the field of offshore wind farms development and operation. They would like to invite potential Polish companies interested in future participation on development, building and maintenance of upcoming offshore wind farms in Poland to participate in an international workshop where experiences will be discussed of invited Polish and international experts in this field.

On day 1 (Tuesday 11 June 2024, 13:00 - 13:00 hrs), N-Sea representative Peter Cherneski is a panelist and presenter during the session ‘Cable and emergency responses’.

N-Sea is happy to announce that Peter Cherneski and Joanna Rodziewicz will attend the The Polish Wind Energy Association Conference in Swinoujscie (4-6 June 2024). They are open for meetings about opportunities with potential partners and customers.

The Polish Wind Energy Association Conference is the largest industry event in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe dedicated to wind energy. This year is the 19th edition, but for the first time it will be held in Western Pomerania, in Swinoujscie - one of the key place on the energy map of Poland, which before our eyes is becoming the centre of wind energy development.

As every year, the conference is dedicated to renewable energy sources and energy market development in terms of implementation and operation of RES technologies in Poland. The event provides an opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss the use of renewable energy sources in the national economy and the environmental benefits of the transition to a low-carbon economy.

RWE conducted their Rampion 2 supplier engagement day at Worthing last week, for which Richard Battrick, the UK Regional Director, was able to share N-Sea’s story, along with recent subsea activities in support of offshore wind in the UK.

This included an update regarding UXOcontrol, which provides UXO management, identification and clearance services, as an integral part of the N-Sea Group.

🚢 The 𝟰-𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀, painted in her new colours and currently being outfitted in IJmuiden to make her ready for her first UXO Identification job.

Equipped with a 100 hp Triton XL Work Class ROV outfitted with TSS 440, MBES, Orphie cam & Dredge Pump, all installed on a raised deck, she is an ideal candidate to perform this type of work.

The fully overhauled Triton XL WROV vehicle and TMS system are being operated through a completely rejuvenated Control System by Vocean Ltd - ROV Rental & Services.

With thanks to Lawson Engineers the WROV and TMS are launched by a fully overhauled Launch and Recovery System (LARS) which comes with Active Heavy Compensation by Scantrol AS.

UXO Identification works are lined up for her in the coming months, followed by the relevant clearance campaigns for these jobs.

N-Sea Group is proud to have her onboard and wishes her and her crew a safe journey ahead.

In March 2023, the European Commission presented the EU Pact for Skills initiative. The Pact aims to support and strengthen the labor market and education for the EU zero-emission transformation. In addition, the Pact aims to support public and private organisations with upskilling and reskilling, so they can thrive through the green and digital transitions.

Entities that join the Pact will receive access to knowledge and get advice about appropriate financing instruments to increase the skills in their regions and countries, and opportunities for broad partnership within the network.

Last week, Peter Cherneski, representative of N-Sea Poland, together with other companies and local authorities, signed the Agreement on the Pomeranian Skills Partnership under the EU Pact for Skills.

The purpose of the Agreement is to strengthen resources in the field of education and the labor market for the development of the renewable energy sector. With an emphasis on offshore wind energy, which is identified as a strategic areas for the implementation of climate neutrality through activities on provincial, national and international levels as part of cooperation in the Baltic Sea Region.

Recently N-Sea’s Braveheart Spirit undertook some very successful tests at sea in order for to deliver a more efficient method of collecting 2D-UHR data. N-Sea Group is committed to finding the most efficient and robust survey solutions for its clients.

After the trials were completed, the Braveheart Spirit went back into port for the mobilisation for her next client, performing a Workclass ROV scope.

Having a fleet of flexible multipurpose vessels is key to continuing to deliver upon N-Sea’s mission in being a total subsea solutions provider.

An extremely useful networking event for N-Sea Group at the EEEGR (East of England Energy Group)'s annual House of Commons reception event, presenting its '5 Core Principles for Energy in the East of England'.

Speakers included Peter Aldous MP and Kevin Keable, the EEEGR Chair, who both provided greater focus on improving sector skills, the requirement to reduce regional carbon emissions and the development of supply chain resilience.

We are pleased to announce that N-Sea Group has entered into an agreement with Rederij Groen to long term charter the vessel Aquarius-G, a modern offshore support vessel built in 2016.

The Aquarius-G has a proven track record when it comes to safe and efficient offshore operations. With her length of 68.04 metres, 14.95 metres beam and a draught of 5 metres, she is the ideal vessel to execute IRM, Survey, UXO, and Cable operations in the North Sea.

We are pleased to announce that N-Sea Group has entered into an agreement with Geo Plus to long term charter the Dutch flagged vessel Geo Ranger, a modern hybrid survey and ROV support vessel. The Geo Ranger will accompany the Geo Focus which is already under N-Sea management and control.

The fuel efficient vessel Geo Ranger is equipped with smart on-board technology, comprising various different sensors and a plug-and-play system for additional, project-specific customer equipment. With her focus on improved workability, durability and flexibility, the Geo Ranger may well set a new standard for survey vessels.

N-Sea has extended the long-term charter agreement for the vessel Braveheart Spirit until 31 December 2025.

Since April 2022 N-Sea has the vessel under full management and control. By having dedicated vessels, N-Sea can provide safer and more efficient operations through working with fully committed and integrated teams. With this extension N-Sea can offer its clients, a unique set of subsea solution capabilities supported by experts.

The 𝟰-𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗦 has a proven track record when it comes to safe and efficient offshore operations. With her length of 60.25 metres, 14.95 metres beam and a draught of 5 metres, she is the ideal vessel to execute survey and other subsea tasks in the North Sea.

The CURO is equipped with an innovative dual basket carousel, 2 no. 15t tensioners and a quadrant handling system in order to repair and replace HVAC and HVDC inter-array cables, export cables and inter-connectors. Due to the combination of its 8 point mooring system and DP2 capabilities, the vessel can operate year round in both very shallow and deep water conditions. N-Sea completed another successful campaign in the Irish Sea for our client Gas Networks Ireland. During this campaign the vessel Noordhoek Pathfinder performed ROTV and ROV surveys combined with seabed intervention by installing gravel bags and performing dredging works on the gas pipeline systems between the UK and Ireland.
