Villapark Duynvallei is located in the small hamlet of Hargen on the north side of the Schoorl Dunes near the sea (approx. 1 km). A perfect holiday destination in an area of natural beauty. The park itself has no facilities except for a reception bicycles are for rent. Outside of the park there are plenty of sights and recommendations for day trips, if you can miss out a day on the beach! Groet is a charming village between the North Sea and Schoorl. Here there are attractive restaurants such as Restaurant de Bokkesprong, located in an authentic local-style farm with a history going back to 1905. Right nearby in Groet there is a baker, butcher and a grocer. Schoorl is where lovers of peace and nature will feel right at home. The De Schoorlse Duinen national park is the broadest and most varied nature area along the Dutch Coast. Lovely walking routes and cycling paths wind among the dunes and polders and a car-free beach entrance (Schoorl aan Zee). In the middle of the village of Schoorl there is a unique climbing dune of at least 54 metres high! At the foot of the climbing dune there are great shops and restaurants. Art lover can peruse the galleries and artists workshops, and for kits there is plenty to do, with the climbing dune and many special activities with the forest service. In the village of Bergen, art, culture and cultural history are the elements dominating the atmosphere. In Bergen you can visit museums and galleries, an artist centre, great boutiques and even an artificial ski slope. There are also annual events, such as the 10 Days of Art, Holland Music Sessions, Light Night, the summer art market, and various flea markets. Alkmaar is a charming town with picturesque canals and special shops. Tip: the Fnidsen is an old shopping area with the most fabulous boutiques. And pop in to the cheese or beer museum. Attractive cities such as Haarlem or Amsterdam with numerous tourist and recreation options are also a short drive away. At the reception they will gladly give you more great tips on the environment. The entrance of the villa is spacious with a central staircase to the bedrooms and the attic. In the charming basement under the holiday home there are two bedroom and a luxurious bathroom with a steam cabin. The third sleeping area is located in the attic. The living room has sliding doors on two sides. There is sufficient space to park the car and the villas have wireless internet. It is an ideal location to relax and enjoy the nature.
