Studio Transue has vast experience designing and constructing all scales of models (maquettes) of every budget and size. The founder of Studio Transue is Adam Doyce Transue and is an American architect that has been working in The Netherlands since 1998 with focus on making architectural models. yce Transue never stopped making models of his designs which has lead him to focus completely on making presentation models. This focus and dedication towards making high quality models at a VERY economical price is the reason that Studio Transue's work can be seen through out the world. In his studio we have a large laser cutter(600x900), computerized milling machine, welders (metal room), spray area (we use Sericol ink and make our own colours), all the large and small wood working machinery needed. Studio Transue is presently in the process of buying a 3D printer and can provide this service if needed. As of 2009, Studio Transue has been the sole maquettebouwer ( architectural model maker) responsible for all the model making requirements and updates for Zuidas Gemeente Amsterdam. There all the updates are made to the 1:500, 1:1000,1:2500 Zuidas models, and the 1:350 ZuidasDok maquette. In 2021, Studio Transue also won the competition and honor to make the Sloterdijk Centrum 2040 scale 1:1000 maquette. Other clients range from Project developers, architects and other gemeentes ( municipalities) throughout the Randstad. Studio Transue is specialized in making high end models for Information Centers, but also makes study models for lower budgets.
