Als Assistent Product Manager ben je, samen met de Product Manager, de spil in het introductieproces van de snijbloemen rassen van Evanthia. In deze rol ondersteun je de Product Manager bij het maken van de juiste en tijdige keuzes met betrekking tot het assortiment, waarbij aan strenge markteisen wordt voldaan. Deze keuzes hebben betrekking op de ontwikkeling van het productportfolio, de evaluatie van selecties en de introductie van nieuwe rassen. Tevens ondersteun je de veredelaars met het uitvoeren en beoordelen van de R&D-/ selectieproeven in de praktijk.

Check out these fresh Dypsis seeds!

Dypsis lutescens, or Golden Palm, is a popular, robust houseplant with a rapid growth and air-purifying qualities. This multi-stemmed palm produces clusters of upright, bamboo-like stems and graceful, fresh-green feathery leaves. Dypsis is native to Madagascar, where it grows in moist rainforests and on slopes and riverbeds. Other internationally used names for Dypsis lutescens are: Areca Palm, Bamboo Palm, Golden Cane Palm or Butterfly Palm.

Evanthia periodically has fresh seeds of Dypsis lutescens available for commercial production. Average number of Dypsis lutescens seeds per kilogram: 1,600.

Ontdekkingstuin de Garden weer open op 29 juni

In Enkhuizen groeit iets moois. Op zaterdag 29 juni om 11.00 uur opent de Garden de onzichtbare deuren naar dé showtuin voor groenten, bloemen en kruiden. Vlak voor de historische Koepoort en stadsmuur worden bezoekers meegenomen op een ontdekkingsreis langs alles wat groeit en bloeit op onze vruchtbare grond.
Weet jij nog hoe bloemen, planten en kruiden eruitzien voordat ze verpakt in handzame zakjes en pakjes, voorzien van labels en toevoegingen, in de schappen van de supermarkt liggen? In de Garden ontdekt het brede publiek hoe groenten, kruiden en bloemen groeien in het veld.

De Garden is elke zaterdag en zondag open van 11.00 tot 17.00 uur en op woensdag van 9.00 tot 12.30 uur.

Wat is nieuw dit jaar?

Dit jaar zijn er enkele nieuwe interessante gewassen aan de Garden toegevoegd: een breed assortiment zonnebloemen, allerlei oude en nieuwe sla rassen, 11 verschillende types Lelies, een collectie van 30 combinaties van eenjarige bloeiers in patio potten, een snijbloemen pluktuin en een aantal bloemen mengels waaronder insectenmengsels, paprika en tomaten in patio potten.
