A passionate and experienced catering professional
I have been working in the catering sector since 1972 and am a passionate catering professional with a wealth of practical experience, having worked in roles including sommelier and chef de rang in the Netherlands, Egypt, France, the United Kingdom, Cameroon, Peru and Zambia. I was subsequently employed in management-level positions as a management assistant and branch manager for various restaurants: Kaatje bij de Sluis in Blokzijl (1 Michelin star), Maison van den Boer in Veghel, Chalet Royal in Den Bosch and Chalet Brakkestein in Nijmegen. After this I spent 18 years as deputy director of Humphreys Restaurants Nederland (18 outlets), where I was responsible for taking care of purchasing, compiling menus and wine lists, directing management, kitchen and service staff and handling event catering.
