Last week, GreenFields' Scott van der Kleij hosted a seminar for a group from Sweden in Oslo including a field visit at Skedsmo FK, where they witnessed our GreenFields Pure PT infill-free pitch. Despite the pitch being fully covered in snow at 14:00 hours in the afternoon, just 5 hours later, after the snow was removed, the first team of Skedsmo FK conducted a high-intensity training session in -11 degrees Celsius.

The GreenFields Pure PT offers exceptional player comfort while demonstrating remarkable durability and playability even during cold and snowy circumstances. It is a game-changer in artificial turf for football but also a sustainable non-infill & low maintenance choice for the future.

The Johan Cruyff Foundation recently celebrated the opening of the 300th Cruyff Court in the world with the opening of the Cruyff Court Pelé in Santos, Brazil. The new facility will make a significant impact in Dique da Vila Gilda, a socially vulnerable neighborhood in Santos. The opening event was a festive and enthusiastic celebration of the favela that saw local kids take part in a football match.

The GreenFields MX NF and Ecocept court will serve children and youth from nearby neighbourhoods who lack socio-educational opportunities in the largest stilt community in Latin America.

Building football fields all over the world where boys and girls can play football and have fun in a safe environment. That is the goal of UEFA Foundation for Children, Common Goal, Lay's RePlay (an initiative of PepsiCo) and GreenFields. Together, sustainable football pitches are constructed and the most recent one is located in Naples, Italy. GreenFields MX NF and the Ecocept™ base layer were successfully installed.

The completion of the new sustainable pitch, with a base made using recycled Lay's bags of crisp packets, was the perfect way to celebrate sport, inclusion and sustainability, and supports the recent development of the city's Scampia neighbourhood.
