The tulip bulbs have firmly rooted themselves in to the ground. This way the bulb gets all the nutrients from the ground that are needed to grow!🌷 This bulb is already well on its way 💪🏼 Now under a bed of straw against the winter weather, but spring is loading! 🥰⏳

De tulpenbollen hebben zich stevig geworteld in de grond. Zo krijgt de bol alle voedingstoffen uit de grond binnen die nodig zijn om te kunnen groeien!🌷 Deze bol is al hard op weg 💪🏼 Nu nog even onder een bedje van stro tegen het winterse weer, maar de lente komt eraan! 🥰⏳

We have some fantastic news for the upcoming season and we can’t wait to share it with you… 🥁 Woohoo, our show garden will be 4 times bigger!🥳 Tulip Experience Amsterdam is expanding from 1 to 4 hectares of show garden. This means more tulips to admire, more space to walk around, and of course, plenty of spots to take the most beautiful photos.🌷The bulbs are already planted, so we’re counting down the days until March 20th! 🗓️

We hebben fantastisch nieuws voor het komende seizoen en kunnen niet wachten om het met jullie te delen… 🥁 Woohoo, onze showtuin wordt 4x zo groot!🥳 Tulip Experience Amsterdam breidt uit van 1 naar maar liefst 4 hectare showtuin. Dit betekent meer tulpen om te bewonderen, meer ruimte om te wandelen en natuurlijk veel plekken om de mooiste foto’s te maken.🌷De bollen zijn al gepland, dus we tellen de dagen af tot 20 maart! 🗓️

It’s been a busy few months at our tulip nursery! 🚜🌷 The dirt, loose skins, and roots are removed from our tulip bulbs—most of it by machine. Once peeled, the bulbs go through a sorting machine, where the bulbs are sorted by size. The smaller bulbs get replanted for next season’s bloom 🌱⏳, while the larger ones are ready to be exported! 📦🌍 Ready to grow tulips from our nursery to your home garden? Het is een drukke tijd geweest op onze tulpenkwekerij! 🚜🌷 Het vuil, de losse schillen en wortels zijn van onze tulpenbollen verwijderd—veelal machinaal. Nadat ze zijn gepeld, gaan de bollen door een sorteermachine waar ze op grootte worden gesorteerd. Tulip season is over, so what’s next? All tulip fields have been topped by now! We know... painful to see 🚜💔🌷 But it’s a good thing! By removing the flower 🌷 from the stem ✂️ the energy flows back to the bulb and that means the bulb starts to grow and multiply! 🌰>🌰🌰🌰 Stay tuned for the next step!

Het tulpenseizoen zit erop, dus wat nu? Alle tulpenvelden zijn inmiddels gekopt! We weten het… pijnlijk om te zien 🚜💔🌷 Maarrrr het is maar goed ook!
