'Geweldige plek, zeer rustig, dicht bij het strand. Hoogtepunt was onze chef-kok Made, ze was super leuk en we leerden veel over Balinees koken. En je moet haar absoluut om haar Balinese saté vragen:-) het is zoooo goed :* Het is een plek om naar terug te keren - we vonden het hier geweldig. Mis het niet om naar de lokale Seririt-markt te gaan, het is slechts 15 minuten met de auto, ga's ochtends! ...en wees voorzichtig met Mochi - een super lieve en zeer vriendelijke kleine zwarte hond. Bedankt Le Petit Leon team!'

Ah, Bali! That exotic island everyone is talking about. But don't be fooled by the idyllic pictures and enthusiastic stories. Here are a few reasons not to go to Bali (but if you do decide to go, rent a villa at BaliVacationHomes).

1. Too Perfect Weather ☀️

Who wants endless days of sunshine and an average temperature of 30 degrees? Always that perfect breeze and not a cloud in the sky. Where are the rainstorms and dreary days to dream away?

2. Beaches, Beaches, Beaches 🏖️

Yes, Bali has beaches. Too many beaches. Pearly white sand and crystal clear water. But honestly, all that sand ends up everywhere, and who has time to sunbathe and swim endlessly in the turquoise sea?

3. Dazzling Nature 🌿

Rice terraces, volcanoes, waterfalls and dense jungles. All that greenery will make your eyes tired. And that fresh, clean air? Way too good for your lungs. Where's the smell of exhaust when you need it?
