A young and progressive label agency based in Rotterdam which specializes in providing high quality goods for retailers. In our work we always seek a fair and transparent cooperation. Son of a brand is a collaboration between Thomas van Boheemen (sales) and Raquel Duvalois (design & communication). Thomas van Boheemen comes from an experienced background in sales and worked in many different sect

ions within the fashion industry. Raquel Duvalois has proved herself over the years as a freelance graphic designer and creative concept developer. Together they are the core of Son of a brand in which they combine their individual talents and experience to create a complete service for their clients. - Selling good quality brands and products with an authentic story.

Jelmer sees his work as a playful and layered way to break out of this rut and make us aware of the value of playfulness and imagination in our lives. This results, for example, in investigating the function and form of playground equipment, where Konjo plays with risks and imagery and investigates how changing the context influences the experience of the work.

BLIND SPOT - Ruwedata

Inspired by traditional stained glass-windows, Thijs has researched working with plexiglass and wood to make a modern version of stained glass-windows. All parts are laser cut and put together manually in a tailormade frame by Thijs himself.

Blind Spot is a big stained glass window that was on display on Big Art last year. Its iconography shows both the dark and light-footed side of life and calls for conversation. The longer you look at the work, the more visual components you discover.
